The recently appointed SSA to the Kogi State Government and Nollywood Star Actress, Mercy Johnson was seen at the question and answer session of the Kogi Entertainment Summit. Below are some of her words at the event.
For the first time, Arts, Culture and Entertainment will become very instrumental in the life of Kogi State. We want to ensure the recognition of a community’s arts/culture assets as an important element of economic development. We’ll bring planners that establish links between arts/culture sector, capitalizing on local assets 2 improve the economy. Anybody cannot be an actor/actress. We will encourage talents to be part of team behind the camera. We need everybody on board to make this work. Let’s bring ideas and positions to develop the state through Entertainment.
