Popular Native Doctor Allegedly Murdered By Cultists In His On Shrine In Ebonyi

News reports have revealed that a popular native doctor was reportedly murdered by suspected cultists over the weekend at his own shrine.

The native doctor identified as Chief Onupka Nwite had, according to the reports, been murdered at his shrine located in Ndulo Ukwuagba Ngbo, Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi state.

Nwite had reportedly been killed at about 8:00pm Friday, April 22, 2016 in front of his shrine, with the suspects escaping following the dastardly act.

Vanguard reports that Nwite is said to be an expert in preparing charms for cultists withing the area, which they reportedly use for protection against rival cult groups during clashes.

The son of the deceased, Nwabueze Onukpa alleges that one Abacha, Parity and their gang were responsible for killing his father.

Nwabueze adds that he has reported the matter to Ohaukwu Police Division and the Development Centre Coordinator, as he appeals to security agents to help bring the culprits to book.

The young man is revealed to have also reported the matter to his kindred in Ukwuagba who are said to have mobilized youth to go on a rampage, burning houses of some of the people suspected to be involved in the killing of Nwite.
