Yesterday, Davido surprised Nigerians when he bought into Wizkid’s feud with Linda Ikeji (HERE), but he is now facing backlash from fans who are not feeling the sudden friendship.
Before now, fans had pitched Davido against Wizkid as many people, including conglomerates, fought over who was the better artiste. Many times, there had been Davido vs Wizkid conversation on social media, until Davido cleared the air in his FADER interview, saying that there is enough room for them to co-exist.
And so, when Davido declared yesterday ‘F**k with [Wizkid] and you f**k with us’, many people assumed he is simply overexcited with the new friendship between him and the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer.
“Wizkid nor send you,’ One follower told him, and another added, “So friendship dey hungry una since?”
Not long after, Davido deleted the first diss he shot at Linda Ikeji, but the comments still poured in.
