Chris Brown seeks lower child support payment to baby mama

The battle between singer Chris Brown and Nia Guzman, the mother of his daughter, has continued this week with Brown filing legal documents in Houston, Texas to establish paternity, according to reports.

According to TMZ, Guzman was demanding $15,000 a month for child support, an amount Brown felt was too much. Brown had been handing over $2,500 a month in child support to Guzman and hopes that a judge will set the figure at an amount closer to what he’s already been paying the mother of his child. In addition to setting an amount for child support, Brown also wants a judge in the matter to establish clear custody guidelines.
